NSW schools offer special religious education and special education in ethics. Approved providers deliver these, where available.
At Cudal Public School, Special Religious Education (SRE) and Special Ethics Education (SEE) is delivered every Friday from 9am to 9.30am.
On enrolment, parents/carers will be given the SRE/SEE participation letter to complete and return. After the initial enrolment, notification of changes to a child's enrolment in SRE/SEE should be given to the Principal in writing.
Ecumenical SRE classes are offered at Public School and teachers use the Connect program for all students. Booklets for scripture are donated by Cudal Uniting Church.
Primary Ethics run SEE classes for both Stage 1 (Years 1-2) and Stage 2 (Years 3-4) in 2023.
During the time that SRE/SEE classes are being held, students not attending will be located in a separate space and will participate in meaningful literacy activities (for example, activities could include reading or completing homework).
