Cudal Public School Behaviour Support and Management Plan
Overview
Cudal Public School is committed to explicitly teaching and modelling positive behaviour and to supporting all students to be engaged with their learning. Key programs prioritised and valued by the school community are the Berry Street Educational Model and the Peer Support program. The school incorporates elements of the Positive Behaviour for Learning approach as part of the Berry Street Educational Model.
Promoting and reinforcing positive student behaviour and school-wide expectations
Cudal Public School has the following school-wide expectations:
- to be KIND
- to show YINDYAMARRA
(Wiradjuri for “respect, be gentle, to be polite, to honour and to do slowly.”) - to be SAFE
Cudal Public School uses the following school wide rules, which are explicitly taught and reinforced weekly:
- Care for the school
- Care for ourselves and others
- Move quietly and sensibly during learning time
- Hands, feet, negativity to yourselves
- Right place, right time, right thing
- Do your best
