Principal's Message

Welcome to Cudal Public School!

At Cudal Public School, we are committed to creating an educational environment where every student is valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Our approach emphasises both excellence and equity, equipping students with the essential life skills needed to build confidence, challenge norms, and foster creativity, as outlined in the Mparntwe Declaration. We believe that each student has the ability to make a positive impact, become an informed member of the community, and thrive within our nurturing environment.

As the principal, I take great pride in nurturing the unique gifts, talents, and interests of every student. This responsibility is one I hold in high regard. I also recognise that education is a collaborative effort, and families and the community play a vital role in our students' learning journey. We encourage active parent and family involvement in all aspects of school life, and your support in our homework and home reading programs, as well as various school activities, is invaluable.

Our dedicated and passionate teachers are focused on delivering personalised learning experiences that cater to each student's individual needs. The small school setting allows us to develop strong relationships with our students, understanding their learning styles, strengths, and interests, which is crucial in creating effective and engaging educational programs.

We are proud members of the Orange Small Schools Association (OSSA), which offers our students the chance to participate in a variety of activities with peers from other small schools, including Cross Country, Athletics, and Swimming. Additionally, we work closely with local small schools (Cargo, Manildra, Eugowra and Gooloogong) to provide peer support activities and leadership opportunities for students across all five schools. Finally, we have an informal partnership with Curl Curl North Public School in Sydney, where our students correspond and occasionally engage in reciprocal visits, creating memorable experiences, such as trips to the beach.

Cudal Public School is an inclusive community that strives to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and social abilities they need to grow into confident, responsible citizens.

Once again, welcome to our school community!
